Thanks for visiting.
I am a photographer and tutor based in Edinburgh in Scotland.
I worked in corporate and editorial photography for many years, but now I primarily photograph wild environments and landscapes.

Many of the photographs here have been produced for the John Muir Trust, which is the leading wild land conservation charity in the UK. It works with people and communities to ensure that wild land is protected and that wild places are valued. Since 1983 the Trust has worked to conserve, campaign and inspire. My brief was to photograph the land that the Trust protects, and the people who live, work and volunteer on that land.
I am currently involved in shooting the 1200km long watershed of Scotland - the Ribbon of Wildness - inspired by the journey and book of the same name by Peter Wright.
I teach landscape photography courses, Photoshop, Lightroom training, dSLR and traditional (film) photography. I can be booked directly or through Stills, Scotland's Centre for Photography.
